The Wings won the third and final game of the series with an impressive 14-7 comeback victory at Cooper Stadium. Columbus took a 7-0 after four as Rodriguez got roughed up for the first time in many outings. The Wings cut the lead to 7-2 going into the 8th and then they poured the runs on. In the eighth the Wings put twelve on the board with homeruns from Davis and Waszgis (who both had three hits days). Corbin received the win and Shouse pitched two scoreless innings to close the game off.
The win gives the Wings a 2-1 edge in the three game series and a 4-2 record for the road trip! The Sox lost to Scranton to the lead for the Wings is at 7 1/2 games now. The Wings are home for a three game series at Frontier now.
