The Wings staged a ninth inning comeback win to open the three game stand at Frontier in front of 8,146 fans. The Wings seemed to play catchup much of the day, Forbes helped the Wings take the first inning 3-1 lead with a homerun. Ottawa took a 5-3 lead but the Wings came back and Tommy Davis homered in the sixth to tie it. The Wings then took the 6-5 lead but Ottawa put up a two spot in the top of the ninth off of Steph. Then with guys on second and third Tommy Davis came through again and drove in both runs so the Wings took it!
This was the second straight impressive come from behind win for the Wings, quite an effort! The PawSox were rained out so the Wings lead them by eight games. The Wings will be home at Frontier tomorrow and fans can receive a $2 discount if they bring in Coke tops.
