Rochester: 12 Ottawa: 4

No comeback was necessary in this one as the Wings took the game away early and won 12-4 in front of 8,046 at Frontier. The Wings took a 5-0 lead after two. During the second Ottawa's pitching coach got tossed and the Lynx pitcher (Henderson, who allowed five runs in 1 2/3 innings) got tossed as he said something to the first base umpire! The Wings then followed that up with a five run third and rolled to the victory.

Also, Mike Berry for the Wings had a triple, but the throw to third was overthrown and went into the Lynx dugout (despite a diving attempt to save it from going into it by the third baseman) and Berry came in. Matos had a three hit day, while Forbes, Clyburn, Berry and Frazier had two hit days. Schrenk started and went seven allowing two to earn the win. The PawSox swept a doubleheader today so they gained a half game. The Barons got swept though so the Wings magic number to clinch a playoff spot is seven. The Wings conclude the series against Ottawa tomorrow at Frontier.
