The Wings win yet another game in extra innings! The Wings fell behind again early 2-0. The Wings then came back in the 7th, as PJ Forbes with two outs and two strikes came through with a base hit driving in two runs. Then Corbin came in for the Wings in relief, his first 15 pitches were balls which meant the bases were loaded with no outs. He then managed to get them to ground into a double play, and then got the third out. Then in the 10th inning the Wings took the lead as Gruber got on and then scored the eventual game winning run. The once again, the Wings got themselves in a jam, with the bases loaded, two out and three balls, Williams managed to get them to fly out and the Wings stole another one from Syracuse!
The Wings are now 4-0 in extra innings and even their record to 6-6! They return to Frontier tommorrow, a matinee game, and hopefully the weather will cooperate finally! Rain is not suppossed to occur untill the afternoon, how late is the question. Lets keep our fingers crossed!
