The Wings got right back on track against Syracuse with a 4-1 victory in front of 11,249 fans at Frontier. Doug Johns had his second straight superb performance as last outing he pitched eight scoreless innings and this time he went the whole game allowing only one run. PJ Forbes was the only Wing with two hits and he drove in a run. Bullett also tripled for the Wings in the win.
The PawSox lost 1-0, as Saberhagen took the loss for them allowing seven hits in six innings against Richmond. This extends the Wings lead to seven games! The Wings finish off the three game homestand against Syracuse tomorrow, and if the Wings win and Scranton loses the Wings will seal a spot in the playoffs!
