The Skychiefs defeated the Wings for the first time ever at Price Champion Stadium by the score of 5-2 in front of only 4,863 fans in Syracuse. Rich Butler gave Syracuse a 1-0 lead in the first with a solo shot. Tim Laker had a solo shot in the seventh to tie the game up for the Wings. Unfortunately, Syracuse scored three in the eighth and Robinson did his job tonight and they took the game.
Williams started and was solid for the Wings, but Bennett allowed the three runs in the eighth and took the loss. Laker was the lone Wing with two hits. The PawSox won and now the Wings head to McCoy to start a five game home and home series.
