Tonight the Wings didn't need any comebacks, as Doug Johns wiped out the Mud Hens as the Wings won 2-0 in front of 10,675 fans at Frontier. Johns pitched a complete game shutout allowing only seven hits. Also, in a run down, Johns caught arguably the IL's fastest base stealer, Kimera Bartee! Also, PJ Forbes drove in a run and made a fine play as he made a basket pitch backpeddling to the outfield to spur the Wings win.
The win cuts the Wings magic number to four as the PawSox did also win. The Wings finish the Toledo series tomorrow, with the final regular season day game.
