The Wings troubles continued as they fell to Scranton 5-4 leaving numerous men on base. Yan had a rough outing in his first game since coming back from the O's as he allowed five runs in five innings. Lou Frazier had a great day though, going three for three with a triple scoring three of the Wings four runs. In the eighth inning the Wings loaded up the bases and Clyburn hit the ball to the warning track and the inning ended and that was pretty much all for the Wings.
Foley was disgusted with the effort as he was quoted in the D&C as saying "We are terrible" and he went on to say "It's very disheartening, as well as we have played, to play this bad. It's embarrassing." Hopefully the Wings will get back on track today in Moosic. Luckily, the PawSox are not making the Wings pay for their recent slide as they lost again to slice the magic number to one. One can only hope though the Wings take the division title with a win, not by the PawSox losing again as it would not a satisfactory to clinch after the way this club has played the majority if the year.
