Rochester: 10 Richmond: 3

Well, it is safe to say at this point the Wings are hot. The Wings earned their fifth win in a row at Frontier on a chilly night in front of 4,047 fans. The Wings again had the bats going and amazingly scored ten runs without a lone homerun! The Wings put the game away early, the Braves took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 2nd, but the Wings came back with four in the bottom of that inning, which was all that they needed to win. The Braves did come within 5-3 after 7, but the Wings put four on the board in the eighth to seal it.

Krivda was strong earning the win and Ramirez came on for the save. It is good to see some quality pitching, what has been said to be a strong point has really been overshadowed by the Wings hitting thus far, but the Wings seem to be a bit better of late in the pitching department. Especially positive is the good pitching from the bullpen of late, which was a bit of a question mark, but certainly not of late! The Wings continue the stand tommorrow at Frontier against them. The weather for the foreseeable future looks decent, after the morning rain/snow clears we seem to be clear for a while of precipitation. So as long as that ends early the Wings are home free with the weather (ex. cold). So lets seem some real good crowds (just dress warm) this weekend. Sunday looks very good, high near 50 and partly sunny!
