I think this game could best be described as a game of missed oppurtunities. The Wings left numerous men on base on a chilly night at Frontier while Norfolk made the best of their oppurtunities as they went on to win 5-1. Crawford pitched brillantly for Norfolk, pitching seven innings. He allowed only one run which was unearned. Carrara pitched fairly well for the Wings, in six innings he shed three runs. Certainly things just did not go right this game, but against a quality team like Norfolk they will have to capitalize on their oppurtunities.
The Wings will continue the series tonight, as they will try to bounce back. Sorry about the late update, I got back from the game late, so I did not have time to update it last night. Tonights will be updated faster!
