The Wings were really getting their bats on the ball as Clyburn had two homeruns along with Laker complementing him with one leading the Wings to their second straight win over Norfolk. Krivda started and came through with his normal quality start and Williams again picked up a save today yet again! An impressive effort today from the Wings as they took the lead early and never looked back on a sultry (48 degrees at gametime, 2nd warmest this season!) night at Frontier.
As you may have noticed Brain Williams is turning into a very respectable closer of late. He has obtained five saves and while at times has been a bit wild, he has yet to be hurt too much by that. A closer is very important and it is good to see Williams play! Also the Wings now sit alone if first! The Wings play a 12:15 game tommorrow to finish off the series against Norfolk.
