Today the Wings pitching was absolutely marvelous on a beautiful day at Frontier in front of 5,778. Starter Neiro Rodriguez combined with two relievers for a one hitter. Rodrieguez pitched eight innings. The Wings scored once in the seventh, which was all they needed in the victory. Bill Pulsipher started for Norfolk and pitched well but took the loss.
This improves their Wings record to 12-8 and their record at Frontier is now 7-3! The Wings will venture down the thruway to Syracuse for one game before returning home to Frontier for two games this weekend and the forecast looks superb.
