The Wings keep rolling along as they took the first game of the series in Richmond and improve their record on the road trip to 3-1 and have now won 9 of 10! The Braves scored a run in the second, but the lead would be short lived. Danny Clyburn's hot string continues as he hit a homerun to help catapult the Wings into the lead to stay. The Wings scattered six more runs on the board throughout the final half of the game as the Wings went on to an 8-3 win.
Carrara had an extremely impressive game pitching a complete game six hitter. Two of the three runs he allowed came off of back to back homers in the ninth. Carrara improves to 3-1 and the Wings improve to 18-9! The Wings hope to continue their winning ways in the second game of the series in Richmond tomorrow.
