Richmond: 7 Rochester: 2

The Wings lose another tough one in Richmond and have now started their first losing streak (2) in a very long while. The Wings took the lead in the fourth with a homerun from Wawruck. Unfortunately the Braves took the lead in the fourth at 2-1. The Braves put the game to bed in the seventh with five runs, including a two run homerun from Tommy Gregg. The Wings got one more on the board in the eighth from a Laker homerun, but it was too little too late. The Braves come out victorious 7-2.

Corbin took the loss, though not pitching horribly. 3 1/3 innings, one hit (he walked four), two runs. The bulk of the runs came off Shouse in his first weak outing in a long while, as he pitched an innings allowing four runs off of four hits. The Wings will hope to earn the split in Richmond tomorrow. One more note, not having any impact on the Wings, but the Clippers tonight beat the Tides 26-11! The game there took almost four hours and understandably so with 37 runs scored, WOW!
