The Wings win a high scoring affair in Richmond 11-10. Fielding on both sides was bad to say the least as the Wings collected five errors and the Braves collected three! Richmond took a 3-0 lead in the first, but the Wings came back with two in the third and four in both the fourth and fifth to put ten on the board and make it 10-8. Richmond came within one in the sixth, but the Wings put the game away with a PJ Forbes solo homerun to make it 11-9. Richmond came within one again in the eigth, but Brian Williams then closed the door and took the save.
Both PJ Forbes and Danny Clyburn had great days. Clyburn was 4-5 scoring two runs. Forbes was 3-5 with a homrun and three RBI's. Laker had the Wings other homerun. The Wings have now split the series in Richmond and come home from the trip with a 4-3 record. The Wings are now 12-4 in day games! The Wings have the day off tomorrow and then open a homestand.
