A rather dissapointing loss occured for the Wings on a chilly/rainy night at Frontier in front of 4,415. The Wings took a 3-0 lead in the fourth with Tolentino driving in two of the three runs and at that point Wings pitcher Neiro Rodriguez had a no hitter. Unfortunately, that came to an end and so did the Wings lead in the seventh as Charlotte put six on the board, three off of Rodriguez and three off of Yan. Charlotte reliever Pall closed the door pitching three scoreless innings and Charlotte went on for the win.
On the bright side the two Wings pitchers combined for 15 strikeouts, not too bad! Also Tolentino had a good night going two for four with two RBI's. The Wings will have Krivda on the mound for the game tonight, hopefully he can help them bounce back.
