The Wings bounce back from the home loss yesterday with an impressive 8-4 win on a drizzle filled night in front of 4,678 at Frontier. The Wings took the lead in the first, which stuck. The Knights did come within 4-3 through 3 1/2, but the Wings put the game out of hand in the bottom of the fourth, lead by a Danny Clyburn three run homerun. That made the score 8-3 with that four run inning, Charlotte did put one more on the board by a Lucca in the seventh, but that would be it. The Wings take it 8-4.
Danny Clyburn had a stellar night, going 3-4 with a homerun, triple and three RBI's! Also Ledesma went 3-4 with a double and a RBI. Rick Krivda went all the way for the Wings, pitching nine innings allowing four runs, three of which were earned. He had seven K's and walked only one man! A very impressive effort all around for the Wings.
