Well, when the Wings lose, they seem to like to make the loss painless, as they lose 13-2 at Frontier. Charlotte put two on the board in the second and fifth, four in the sixth and five in the ninth which is how they got their thirteen runs. Most amazing of all is the Knights did not have a single homerun! The Knights had seven hits through the first eight innings and Steph got rocked in the ninth where he allowed those five runs off of an additional seven hits. Shouse is the only Wing who pitched well as he pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings. That helps explain the loss.
The Wings were not very impressive tonight on the offensive side either with only five hits and no player had more than one hit. Luckily the Wings have a 12:15 game tomorrow at home, so they have little time to dwell on the loss.
