Wow, talk about a thriller, the Wings won this one in spectacular fashion! The Wings fell behind early and managed to tie up the game at 3 in the bottom of the fifth, then things got weird. Yan came in to relieve Haynes and the bases were loaded, Dauberg hit the ball deep and Bullett ran into the wall appeared to be injured and everyone came in and it was an inside the park grandslam. Bullett was OK and continued playing. The Knights got five runs that inning to make it 8-3, and it would seem like things were out of hand, but they were not!
The Wings had an eight run seventh, pretty much everyone got involved and they got these eight runs without a homerun. This made the score 11-8 and Charlotte would hit a solo homer to make it 11-9, but then Shouse came on and closed the door. The Wings won 11-9. Clyburn was 3-4 and everyone in the lineup scored atleast a run as overall it was a well balanced effort. Quite the way to bounce back, now the Wings will hit the road for four games.
