The story of this game has to be the superb relief the Wings received! Rick Krivda started and pitched an inning allowing a run before getting thrown out for argueing a balk call and the relievers combined for nine no hit innings! The Wings did have to come back as Tommy Davis had a homer to tie it. Then in the tenth Wawruck had an RBI hit to win the game.
Pitching was great on both sides and Steph earned the win while Blazier lost allowing one unearned run in 3 1/3 innings. The Wings are now 7-0 in extra innings! The Wings return home for the weekend to face second place Pawtucket!
