Rochester: 6 PawSox: 3

The Wings bounced back from last nights loss to Pawtucket with a 6-3 win in front of 7,566 at Frontier. Pawtucket got on the board first, as in the first Sadler had a homer off of Schrenk to make it 1-0. The Wings took a 3-1 lead in the fourth, with only one hit that inning. They took advantage of numerous walks by Pawtucket pitching and a costly error as the second baseman for Pawtucket missed the throw and it went into the outfield and cost them a run.

The PawSox came within one with a Pozo homer off of Krivda who came in in relief (as Krivda got tossed lost outing for fighting a call, which explains his relief appearence). Pawtucket tied it up in the top of the eighth, but the Wings then came back with three in the bottom of that inning, which was spurred by a Forbes RBI single. The Wings now have a 1 1/2 game lead on the PawSox and will hope to extend that tomorrow, as they play an afternoon game at Frontier and the forecast looks great.
