The Wings had another fine game with superb pitching in their 3-1 win over Ottawa. Jimmy Haynes pitched 6 2/3 innings of eight hit, one run ball. Brian Shouse then came in and pitched spectacular, as he pitched 2 1/3 innings of no hit ball, strking out five and walking none. On the offensive side Matos was great going 4-5 as he drove in the first two Wings runs. The Wings will go for the sweap tomorrow in Ottawa.
