The Wings finished the series in Pawtucket with a negative as they went down 7-3. The Wings opened up the scoring with a three run second, as Forbes had a strong day going 3-4. Unfortunately that was all of the run support Rochester could muster up as Pawtucket closed the Wings down and Rodriguez did not have one of his better outings. He allowed five runs through five innings to take the loss. The Wings tried to rally as they loaded the bases in the ninth, but with one out the ball was driven to left field and the ball was caught and Waszgis tried to tag up (a play I am sure he regretted considering the run would not have mattered) and he was tagged out at the plate.
This is the first time since the first series of the year the Wings have lost a series. The Wings return home for a seven game homestand against Ottawa and Pawtucket.
