Ottawa: 6 Rochester: 3

The Wings lost the first game in the home series against Ottawa with a 6-3 loss on a wet, rainy night at Frontier. The Wings lost their second straight, and have had two straight uncustomary mediocre starting performances as Ramirez struggled allowing three homeruns and allowing five runs in 5 1-3 innings. The Wings had problems on the offensive end too, with only six hits and three runs, two of which coming in the ninth. Wawruck was the only Wings with more than one hit.

The Wings will hope to snap the two game losing streak as they play Ottawa at home again. Krivda will be on the mound tonight, who is riding two straight complete game shutouts and IL player of the week honors!
