The Wings bounce back against the Lynx with a 8-4 win at Frontier on the warmest night of the season (66 degrees at game time). The long ball was the story for both teams as the two teams combined for six homeruns, luckily the Ottawa homeruns were all solo ones! Fobes, Clyburn and Davis hit the ball out for the Wings leading the Wings to the win. Krivda pitched his third straight complete game, as he went nine innings allowing four runs and seven hits.
With the Pawtucket loss the Wings now have regained a 4 1-2 game lead on them. The Wings will have Haynes on the mound for the third game of the series against Ottawa at Frontier and Ottawa will have Steve Flateisek (2-1, 2.41) on the mound.
