The Wings win game one in Toledo in impressive fashion! Jimmy Haynes sparkled on the mound pitching a 7 inning complete game shutout allowing only 2 hits bringing his record to 1-0. Davis hit the Wings lone homerun in their win, as he had a very good day, 2-3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. The Wings scored runs in this game in each of the first 4 innings bringing the score to 7-0 and the Wings then added a run in the 7th. An impressive win unfortunately, they did not fare so well in game 2.
