The Wings defeated the Clippers for the second straight night capitalizing on six Clipper errors on a gloomy night at Frontier Field. The Wings scored seven runs in the first inning, as they sent 13 players to the plate. Of the ten runs scored, four were earned runs. Rodriguez pitched well, allowing three runs and striking out nine over eight innings. All of the Columbus runs were achieved by homeruns (three homeruns, one was a two run shot).
PJ Forbes continued his great hitting, as he went 3-6 with two RBI's. Also Scott Bullett continued his strong play of late going 3-4 with two RBI's. The PawSox lost tonight, so their lead is cut to 2 1/2 games.
