The Wings again received excellent starting pitching, but this time from Ramirez as he pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings to earn the Win. Clyburn was the only Wings with a multiple hit day going 2-2. The Wings scored all their runs in the third. Ottawa tried to stage a rally in the seventh with Corbin on the mound, and managed to get two on the board, but that would be all as the Wings held on to win.
Corbin received his third save of the year. With the win the Wings again hold the top spot with a 1/2 game lead. The Wings have one more game against the Lynx before the All Star Break.
