Round 1 Recap: The Wings took one of two in McCoy (a place where they won one game all year). That obviously placed them in a favorable position coming home and they took two at Frontier. The big story turned out to be the newcomers. Pavlas formerly of Columbus was strong on the mound while Moreno pitched a masterpiece in his first ever AAA game. Also, newcomers Peguero and Johns eached produced substancial offense including a homerun a piece.

Governor's Cup Recap: The Wings took a Governor's Cup thriller in the maximum five games as they took game five 4-3 at Frontier. Rochester and Columbus alternated wins each game and luckily the Wings took game one! Brian Shouse and Danny Clyburn were among many spectacular performers during the Cup.
