In the First Round of the Scottish Youth Cup, Ross County's U-18 side proved too strong for Rothes.
They created several chances early on and took the lead in 20 minutes when GETHINS put the finishing touch to a Jack header.
Further goals from BOLOCHOWECKYJ, CAMPBELL and COWIE gave the County youngsters a commanding 4-0 half time lead.
In the second half, County continued to dominate completely and another goal from CAMPBELL and a double from YOUNG saw them run out comfortable 7-0 winners.

In the second round of the Scottish Youth Cup, Ross County U-18s were far too strong for Lossiemouth. Lossie put up some resistence in the first half restricting County's lead to 3-0. However, in the second half, County's fulltime players completely overpowered their opponents and went on to win 14-0.
On the score sheet for County were: Gethins (5), Duncanson (4), McAskill (2), Cowie (2) and Keldie (2).

Two goals from Craig Campbell helped Ross County overcome St Johnstone at Dingwall and progress to the last sixteen of the Scottish Youth Cup competition.
Saints were tricky opponents for County and were much the sharper side in the first half, so much so that the home side were happy to get to half time still level and with a chance to regroup for the second half.
There was an improvement in their play in the second period, and they took the lead in the 52nd minute, when Darren Jack's pass found CAMPBELL inside the box and he coolly beat the 'keeper.
Two minutes later Don Cowie came close to extending the lead when he shot the ball against the 'keeper, and his headed rebound came off the bar.
St Johnstone got themselves abck into the game again and in the 75th minute they equalised with a powerdul shoy from the edge of the box.
The match seemed destined for extra time, but with five minutes remaining, CAMPBELL collected the ball outside the box, beat a defender and hit a well-struck shot into the net to make it 2-1.

The Ross County U-18 side went out of the Scottish Youth Cup competition, but did so with some credit in their tie in Glasgow.
In the first half County scarcely got a chance to admire the impressive surroundings as Rangers took hold of the game and were 2-0 up at the break.
Although the Glasgow club had most of the play, the County lads possibly felt that both the goals could have been prevented.
Two goals down at half time, and almost out of the cup, it was decided that the best approach for the second half would be to just go for it. The formation was re-structured a couple of times during the second period and it eventually settled to a 3-4-3. The effect was a much more confident 45 minutes for County in which they were in control for long spells.
Half chances were created, but not taken as the second half wore on. With 10 minutes to go, County got the goal their play deserved when defender Michael BOLOCHOWECKYJ fired the ball home following a corner kick.
The final few minutes of the game saw Rangers content to hold on to their lead, while County came so close to levelling the scores when Darren Jack's shot was superbly saved by the Rangers' 'keeper.
County fielded 16-year-old defender Calum Hill after his impressive appearance as a trialist last week.
