The Ross County Under-18 side suffered their first defeat of the SPL Under-18 League season against Dundee United in Dundee.
The Tannadice team were slick in their movement and started the game well. It took County a while to settle and they suffered a blow in the 20th minute when defender Alec Lamb was rather harshly red-carded following a "clash" with a United player.
County looked as though they would reach half time level, but just before the interval a deflected shot gave United the lead.
In the second half, the home side opened strongly and added two further goals in the opening ten minutes to put the game beyond County's reach.
United held their advantage comfortably for the remainder of the match, but County came close to some consolation when Connor Gethins saw his effort come off the post and Craig Campbell had a shot well saved by the United 'keeper.

Ross County's Under-18 side gave themselves a boost with a well-earned point at home to Dundee United.
In a fairly even first half County went ahead in spectacular fashion when Darren JACK volleyed home a cross from Wilson.
Dundee United equalised early in the second half from the penalty spot but County soon regained the lead when after a good build up Craig CAMPBELL cut inside and beat the 'keeper with a well-struck shot.
United again came back in the 75th minute when they took advantage of some slackness in the defence to make the final count 2-2.
