Ross County Under-18s started their SPL campaign with a 1-2 defeat away to Livingston.
Livingston started the game well and took the lead on the half hour with a well-struck shot. 'Keeper Neil Hastie was a little unlucky as he had saved an earlier effort brilliantly.
Just before half time County equalised when Bryan Dlugonski was brought down in the box. The same player slotted the spot kick.

The winning goal came five minutes from the end when a corner was only partially cleared and the ball was flicked home from close range by an alert Livvy forward.
County's cause was not helped by injuries to defenders before and during the match. The return of gary Ewing for the next game will add experience to waht is a very young team which will improve as the season progresses.

On the Jubilee Park, Dingwall, Ross County Under-18s produced an impressive team performance to defeat Livingston 3-1 in an Under-18 SPL match.
The County youngsters had to apply themselves fully against a hard-tackling Livingston side, and they fully deserved their win.
The home club had the benefit of a stiff breeze in the first half, and, as the interval approached, they created some good chances. First, Darren Jack had a good effort saved by the 'keeper, and then a Craig Campbell header was turned away for a corner. From the resultant kick, the ball was flicked on to the near post and John MacASKILL followed up to score.
Just on half-time Campbell came close to increasing County’s lead, but his drive went just past the post.
The second half was keenly contested, but in the 60th minute, Craig CAMPBELL made it 2-0, when he shook off a challenge and burst through to beat the 'keeper.
County had two or three further chances after this, but Livingston hit back, and a cross from the left was headed home.
In the 75th minute, County defender Michael BOLOCHOWECKYJ showed a fair bit of skill following a corner kick, when he flicked the ball over a defender and drove it home.
Shortly after this, Livingston had a player red-carded for a dangerous challenge, but the County lads kept their heads and finished worthy winners by three goals to one.
