Ross County faced a strong wind in the first half against Motherwell.
However, they deservedly took the lead in the 10th minute when Craig CAMPBELL shot the ball home after good work by Darren Jack.
Motherwell equalised in the 60th minute when Shearer in the County goal was penalised under the 'six second' rule. The free kick resulted in a goal.
Five mintes later County had a grievance when the Motherwell 'keeper appeared to handle the ball outside the are. However, the referee waved plat on and Motherwell broke away and scored at the other end to take the lead.
Despite much of the play taking place in the Motherwell half, Ross County were unable to make the break-through.

Ross County Under-18s had to settle for a point in their closely fought Under-18 SPL match with Motherwell, on the Jubilee Park, Dingwall, on Friday.
There was little to choose between the teams in the first half with the nearest to a goal coming close to half-time. The County 'keeper Andrew Shearer, saved well to keep out a Motherwell effort, and then Darren Jack came inches from opening the scoring, when his header hit the cross-bar.
Motherwell started the second half smartly and almost went ahead, when a shot beat Shearer, but came off the cross-bar.
County came more into the game and looked dangerous at corner kicks. Defender Calum Hill nearly broke the deadlock, but his header was pushed out by the Motherwell keeper and scrambled clear.
County looked the likelier of the teams to score, but despite some more close things at corners, both teams had to settle for a point apiece.
