Scientific Method

1. Observation: What do you see? What size is it?
How much does it weigh? Etc.

2. Question: form a question to help
aid your experiment. One sentence is enough.
What will happen if _____ is done to _________?
(What  will happen if object #1 is put into the water?)

3. Hypothesis: Telling what you think the answer to the
question is. (When object #1 is put into the water it
will float/sink.) One sentence is enough.

4. Experiment: Testing your hypothesis. (Put object # 1
        into the water.

5. Predict: Make a prediction. Did the experiment prove or
        disprove your hypothesis? Why?

6. Results: Document your results on the data sheet.

7. Conclusion: Write a brief paragraph explaining your
        findings.
