Aerobic Kickboxing

Self defense moves such as kicking punching and blocking are taught with the energy and excitement of the aerobic workout program. Our Kik-bo class is designed to teach martial arts techniques while toning the body. Students do not have to conform to the rigid disciplines that usually are part of traditional martial arts classes, and they don't have to do the boring movements taught in aerobic classes. Kik-bo is great for anyone who wants to have fun and is looking for a great time workout routine. Kik-bo is different because you don't need to wear a uniform, sweats are okay. You don't have to fight anyone but still learn how to kick, punch and block as you learn valuable self-defense techniques. You advance at your own speed without competition. Kik-bo classes do not have belt testing and you are not required to memorize material from one week to the next Kik-bo provides a really good workout without pressure. It's a great way to lose weight, get physically fit, improve stamina, and it's excellent self-discipline training. Students of traditional karate also will benefit from the fitness training of Kik-bo, as will athletes involved in sports such as tennis, racketball, basketball or swimming that requir a high level of coordination and stamina.
