Trying to find the parents & siblings of my g-g-grandfather Leonard David (L.D.) BLACKWELL who was born Oct. 4, 1862 "somewhere" in Alabama. L.D. moved to Leon Co. Texas by 1878 along with a T.C. TREADAWAY. He then lived the rest of his life in Mil
m Co. Texas.
I believe my L.D. is someway a part of the Davidson B. family, because I found two BLACKWELL brothers & a TREADAWAY working in Fayette Co. Ala. shortly before 1862. Is there anyway that Alexander & his wife had another child in Oct. 1862. L.D. named one
of his sons Joseph "Henry" & another son with the name Leonard "Alvin" (sorta close to Alexander?!).
Anyway, this is where I am stopped. Have found no other families he was in from census.
Also, I believe there is a James BLACKWELL (Alex's brother?) whose family migrated to exactly the same town as L.D. (Cameron, Tx.)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
