Her father was Ivey Pearson Harmon, born in Chatham County, NC, father was John Edward Harmon of Chatham County, NC. John Edwa d's first wife is unknown, but second wife was Elizabeth (Betty) Petty. Other children of John Edward were: Cordie - Never Married (Had a Women's shop in Ashboro, NC. Obie - Married Sadie Butler at age 48, no children. I am originaly from McDowell County from the War area. My wife is from St. Albans, near Charleston. We've been in Texas since 1979 after I left teaching in War.
