An airplane is a vehicle with wings and a jet engine propeller that is heavier than air and is able to fly. Did you ever wonder how a plane can fly? Well it flies because its' wings create lift. The wings alter the direction of the air flow as it passes.
Sir George Cayley really made the first airplane without an engine! He made a model glider in the year 1804 that looked a lot smaller than a real plane.
If you don't know some of the parts of a plane, guess what, you are in luck! I know them all and I will be happy to tell you! The fuselage is the body of the plane, it has, a cot pit section and a cabin section. It can be used for passengers or cargo.
See airplanes are cool.
