Wolf Facts

• There are two species of wolves, the red and the timber or the gray.
• They eat reindeer, caribou, sheep, and other large mammals.
• They normally go after the young, ill, and older mammals.
• The classes are: the (1) alpha male and female, the (2) the beta male and female, and (3) the omega male and female.
• These animals bark, woof, whine, whimper, yelp, growl, snarl, moan, and howl.
• They can reach up to thirty-five miles per hour in short sprints.
