Old Burris Plantation

This Photo was taken about 1900, Though not clear to see for the folk in the photo it is a Cone gathering.  Benjamin C. Cone operated this plantation for many years, located near Benoit, Mississippi.  There was a movie made here in the 50s by the name of "Baby Doll".

Breland Cone

Breland Cone, Born June 15, 1922 Pinola, Mississippi,  was son of Benjamin C. Cone and Ella Arlena (last name not given)

Pictured here in his WWII Uniform.  He married Augustine Maxey August 26, 1939, in Chicot County, Arkansas.  And 4 children were born to this union.

Breland, won battle stars for New Guinea and Ryukyus Campaigns with Co "B" 1892D Enginneers Aviation Batallion.

Augustine Maxey Cone

Augustine Maxey was the wife of Breland Cone, Born August 8, 1922 and died April 15, 1985.   She was born in Arkansas and married Breland cone in Chicot, County, Arkansas August 26, 1939. She is buried in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
