Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth... but lay up treasures in heaven... for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21 |
I began the hobby of metal detecting in January 1999 . Mainly I search old home sites and areas which show signs of earlier plantation life. Shown above are two of my more notable finds...an 1853 calendar medal and one of several Georgia Military Institute Buttons. Each find provides a unique look into a time very unlike that of today. I present this web site as a way of sharing these finds with others who enjoy this hobby. Thanks again for the visit and I hope you enjoy it. PLEASE NOTE ALL FINDS ON THIS SITE WERE FOUND ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITH OWNERS PERMISSION. Happy Hunting.....The GAREBEL |
