Bo's apartment (Gabrielle is cooking dinner. Bo comes home.)
Bo: Hey Gabrielle.
Gabrielle: Bo!
Bo: Wow, it smells really good in here.
Gabrielle: I didn't expect you back tonight. I was going to bring you some dinner tonight after I finished.
Bo: You didn't have to do that.
Gabrielle: I know, but Bo really, it is the least I can do to help you during these stressful cases. Especially after all cyou have done for me.
Bo: Well I guess I can eat with you because I'm done for the night.
Gabrielle: Really?!
Bo: Yea, I uh....I really can't do much more there tonight so I decided to come home and wind down here so I could be more productive tomorrow. No point in sticking around all night and not getting anywhere.
Gabrielle: Oh ok. Good. (she smiles) You need a break Bo. You've been working so hard. I never see you anymore. Llanview's a lucky city to have you.
Bo: (smiles) You know, your comment today about it being linely around here, well, I was thinking the same thing. Well, I mean, even though I'm not here getting lonely, I do get lonely at work.
Gabrielle: You do?
Bo: Yea. Especially since we've been hanging out so much ya know living together and all, it's been hard being away from you so much. We laugh a lot and I just like hanging out with you Gabrielle. I miss that.
Gabrielle: You do? (smiling more and more)
Bo: Yea. And you know, I'm going to work real hard at solving these cases so I can be here more.
Gabrielle: You are?
Bo: Yes. (Looks at Gabrielle) What?
Gabrielle: (smiling) Nothing..........it's just that you're the best friend I've ever had...........that's all.
Bo: (smiling back) Yea?
Gabrielle: Oh yes. Bo, you don't have to say anything. I know you have lots of friends and I'm hardly your best and that's ok..........I know that, but you (Bo interupts her)
Bo: Gabrielle
Gabrielle: Yes.
Bo: You have a tendency to get that pretty little mouth of yours going and I can't get a word in.
Gabrielle: (Giggles with a twinkle of embarassment in her eye) Oh sorry. What do you want to say?
Bo: That you're my best friend too. (Bo just looks at her and they make eye contact and it's silent for a moment.)
Gabrielle: Bo?
Bo: No Gabrielle you are. I've been thinking a lot and I know you never wanted to like to me. I know that. I know you hated doing it but that you felt you didn't have any other choice at the time. Then, when our friendship was almost curtains because of it, you came to me and decided you couldn't lie to me anymore. You just couldn't do that to our friendship and you told me everything. You wanted to salvage our friendship and when you did that and lost your job, and possible career plans, I realized then that you are truly my friend. A true friend, and it's only been getting better and better since. Yea, I have lots of friends, but none quite like you.
Gabrielle: (A tear is rolling down her cheek) Bo, I didn't know you felt like that.................thank you.
Bo: I do feel like that. (He walks closer to her and gently wipes the tear from her cheek) (Quietly) And so much more.
Gabrielle: What? So much more?
Bo: (Buzzer in kitchen goes off) Oh, your food. Guess it's time to eat. (Bo turns around and begins to walk)
Gabrielle: Bo, you mean the world to me! (Bo turns around) Look at what your friendship and compassion has done to me. You make me want to be a better person. I've never respected anyone so much in my life. When everyone turned their backs on me and lost faith in me, Bo you didn't. You never did, even when I gave you plenty of reasons to. I've often wondered why..........but I know now. You're just that kind of man. You're a man of compassion, integrity, honesty and so much more. You're a good man Bo Buchanan and I'm so lucky to have you in my life.
Bo: Gabrielle, you just needed someone in your corner, that's all. You've become one terrific person. I love who you've become. (He walks to Gabrielle and tucks her hair behind her ear) I love who you've become. (Just looks at her) God you're beautiful. (Gabrielle smiles, their eyes lock)
Gabrielle: Bo.........what's happening?
Bo: I don't know.............but I do know this.......if I don't kiss you right now, I just may die. (They slowly move in looking deep into each others eyes until their lips touch. It's a gentle, slow, tender kiss. They come apart)
Bo: I know what's happening. I'm falling in love with you Gabrielle Medina.
Gabrielle: (She grabs his hand and kisses it while looking up into his eyes. She then pulls him to her and she caresses his face.) I know. (She pulls his face to hers and they kiss passionately. They continue to kiss and then Bo begins to kiss her neck. Gabrielle is swept away by passion. Bo comes forward and they lock eyes again)
Gabrielle: I'm falling in love with you too Bo Buchanan. (Bo picks her up) Make love to me please Bo. (and carries her to the bedroom and Bo and Gabrielle finally admit their true feeling for one another)
Next Morning
(Gabrielle's head is laying on Bo's chest and he is caressing her arm up and down)
Gabrielle: What are you thinking?
Bo: About how long I've wanted to be here......with you........like this. Tell me your thoughts.
Gabrielle: About how I thought you would never kiss me like you did that first time again. At first, I didn't know if we should but as time went by, I wanted you to so much. I wanted you to take me in your arms and hold me tight and kiss me.
Bo: We were too afraid.
Gabrielle: Yes, we were. I mean, a part of me still can't believe it. You and me? It's sort of unbelievable.
Bo: I fought it for a long time because it was so "out there". But, fighting your heart and something that is meant to be...........you're just fighting a losing battle.
Gabrielle: Meant to be?
Bo: I believe it..........with my whole heart.
Gabrielle: Oh Bo! So do I. I just want you to hold me, forever..........and never let go.
Bo: I'm not going anywhere. (They held each other tight, never letting go, ready to begin the rest of their lives together.)
