Best Quadrangle - Roger/Jenna/Buzz/Nadine, Guiding Light
Roger and Jenna...Jenna and Buzz...Buzz and Nadine...who belongs with who? Sparks fly whenever Jenna and Buzz are together, but Buzz and Nadine have chemistry, too, plus a history that includes two children. Jenna gave up Buzz to marry Roger, but she feels betrayed by her husband and wants a divorce. Roger doesn't want to let her go, and Jenna loves the fact that he needs her so much. Still, she's clearly attracted to Buzz. Nadine wants Buzz back. The characters have all made big mistakes and paid dearly for them, but we can't help but feel compassion for them when they screw up again. We don't always know who to root for, but Roger, Jenna, Buzz and Nadine are always compelling to watch.
Previews - Roger Is Missing
Roger fails to show up for the Spaulding court hearing. Leo grills Bess under cross-examination.
Buzz reads the headlines about the court hearing and pulls the Spaulding/Wynant contract out of his pocket. Nearby, Lucy is agog. To Jenna's disbelief, Buzz brings the document to the judge. The Spauldings celebrate their victory. The judge orders Roger's arrest for being in contempt of court. Blake worries because Roger is missing.
Woman to Woman - Jenna worries about Nadine and Buzz's relationship, but Nadine is crushed when Buzz intimates that if Jenna is willing to make a go for it with him, he wants to be with her.
In The Aftermath - As Nadine and Jenna argue over Buzz, Jenna doubles over, so Nadine agrees to take her to the hospital. When Buzz shows up to comfort Jenna, Nadine vows she won't lose him again. Buzz tells Jenna that he took away her wealth so she could regain her independence. He temporarily sets up Jenna at the firehouse after Alexandra makes her triumphant return to home and buisness.
