Well hell yeah! A reunion!! I sure hope the show was recorded and will be made available to the masses - either via Napster or online somewhere. the first couple songs were jungle funk. i think it was gangter,worship,trance;
Living Colour came on with Go Away,middle Man,Times Up, Cult of Personality, Bi, Memories cant wait, love rears it's ugly head, Type, open Letter to a Landlord.
The Encore was an amazing CROSSTOWN TRAFFIC...and that's the way it is....

I have been amazed with Corey's voice since 1988.
12 years and still slammin'. I know this because
I just found Hymns last week. Snatched it up and
it has since, travelled with me from CD player to
computer to CD player. Beautiful! You may not
want my opinion but here it goes. Corey should
NOT hook up with Van Halen. Don't get me wrong VH
has rocked in the past. But Corey is in a league
of his own. He doesn't need a band to carry him.
He could sing the yellow pages from A-Z and make
it a best seller! Why step down to join a band
that is probably past their prime? What would
corey benefit from it. I saw Living Colour open
for the Stones in the old Cleveland Municipal
Stadium. I was appaled by the ignorance of white
people asking why "blacks" were playing

I read the below comments about the sorry state of affairs in the Van Halen camp. I think it would be a bad move for Corey to join. VH sounds like Sabbath in the '80s: Dio, Ian Gillian, and wasn't there someone else? If anything, Eddie should at least
drop the VH name and try a new incarnation a la' Jimmy Page in the Firm. Of course, we know how GREAT the Firm was. Not. And now Page is back where he belongs, with Plant. Eddie had some moments with Sammy, but DLR was chemical perfection! Haha. Sam

When I saw in Rolling Stone ( yuck ) a blurb about Corey playing the Prince show with Vernon, it made me wish Living Colour was still making music. I was hooked way back when, when Vivid came out - it brings back fond memories of living in PA as a newlyw
d. I stuck with the band up through Stain ( which, unfortunately, I thought was their weakest effort, despite a handful of good cuts ). Maybe one day they'll reunite. It could be great!

Saw Corey's performance at BAM, the other night. It was my first time seeing him perform live, most definitely won't be my last. Corey travelled all over the theater during his performance even up to the second tier! If he could do that in an opera house
can not imagine what he does in smaller venues.

I attended the Party at the End of Time @ BAM in which Corey performed. He sang only one song, but he brought the house down. His outfit was slamming, his energy so electrifying. He had us dancing in the aisles.

The first time I heard Living Colour was also the first time I ever saw Living Colour: it was on the "Saturday Night Live" with Mel Gibson as host. A few days later I went to my cousin Jeremy's house and he had the "Vivid" tape. I was hooked. You guys roc

I honestly felt sick at my stomach when I read that Living Colour had broken up. But I jumped for joy when I heard about your solo project. I bought "Hymns" the day it came out and listened to it on the CD-ROM drive of a co-worker's computer. Amazing. Bea
tiful. Fierce. Awesome. Soulful. Funky. You name it. I love it. "Little Girl" and "Things Are Getting in the Way" are favorites. "April Rain" is a masterpiece. Driving around Bloomington (Indiana) this summer listening to the CD, my friend Gabe said, "Hey

Living in England it is sad to say that I will probably never get the chance to see Corey performing live. What a fantasic vocalist.
I only knew about Living Colour around 3 years ago and I have all their albums (including a Japanese version of Biscuits.) I also have Vernon Reids album which is different, but very good.
Favourite Corey Glover song is Do you first....
As for favourite Living Colour songs, well there are so many: Auslander, Go Away, Cult..., Which Way to America, Pride.
At my college in England they open up a radio station one month a year which transmits over a 20 mile radius. I played a few Living Colour (and one Corey Glover) songs in my one hour shows titled "Classic Alternative Rock."
The people of England need to know about Corey Glover.....they don't know what they're missing!

I fell in love with Living Colour from the start. Corey's voice and the bands' sound seemed to click on every single track on every single album(alright CD, am I showing my age?). On any given day, there is always a LC CD in the player. There aren't many

Energy!!! That's what they filled the room with last night at the show in Albany, New York. They moved the audience & they made the audience move.
Before the show the room was pretty uptight feeling and stiff, but Corey Glover & the band loosened that crowd up. After talking with Nathanial Townsley (drums) later that night I found out that they're all spiritual people. That confirmed what I felt f
om them when they were playing. They have GREAT chemistry together.

I just saw Mr. Glover and the band tonight in Minneapolis at First Ave. Very few people showed up (Pearl Jam was playing at an arena across the street) but Prince's drummer was in the sparse crowd.
The set: Sermon, Middle Man, Little Girl(?), Wade in the Water (cover of Staples Singers), April Rain, Sidewalk Angel, Things Are Getting in the Way (?), The Joker (a cover of Steve Miller Band),
Love Rears Its Ugly Head, Do You First, Then Do Myself and Cult of Personality.
During Wade in the Water, Corey dropped the mike, jumped off stage and sang like that for a few minutes. He has a powerful voice. ALso during love rears its ugly head, he jumped off stage with the vocal mike, ordered a water from the bar and took pictures
with people in the crowd. His voice is still really strong. He said he was mad about the local radio station asking for an autograph and then saying they were going to Pearl Jam.
His band is so-so. The drummer was the best musician by far. The bassist was pretty good. The guitar player seemed lost. I've heard him play acoustic and he is talented but he seemed to get lost during his solos. Sort of puttering around. Though they put
ut a good show, really worked hard despite the handful of people. I met him afterward and he was real nice. The whole band was as well. I hope that he finds happiness in his new career.

Holly shit, I just heard the whole Corey concert online! I could'nt believe how great it was! Corey's band is amazing, almost as good as LC, if not better! The bass player is best I've heard since Doug. The guitar player is the best I've heard other than
ernon. The drummer is blazin, and so was the guy on the keys! Corey was the best I've heard him! The girls on back up vocals were great! This was the best show I've heard or seen since Living Colour! later on you might be able to hear the concert again fr

I am very exited. According to the guy behind the desk at Tower Records, Corey Glover's Hymns will be released on April 28th. I can only suppose that the record Is filed under Corey Glover as to not confuse it with such popular bands as Big Bad Voodoo

I am looking forward to hearing Corey Glover sing with The Reverend Daddy Love. I have been hearing about them for quite some time, actually I heard about it once from a friend at BMG (distributer for Arista/Laface) over a year ago and have not recieved
