Chapter I

This all started when four friends came to the aid of another. Eros of Titan watched as many of his fellow Eternals were killed battling the warship Sanctuary II. The captain of the ship was Nebula. Eros and his friends have captured her and she remains a prisoner on Titan. When this all began these friends had no idea that important motions they were going through. Today they know a little more and understand the grand magnitude.

TITAN

Eros is in the command center of Titan. He is repairing his world's super computer ISSAC. Many of his people were recently killed including his father Mentor. Eros has given the "throne" to his earth cousin Thena. He has decided he may help his people in other ways. He is also not sure if he can be a good leader.

Eros recently assisted his friend Hercules with his own problems on Olympus. The old gods ascended to another plane but one refused. There was also a power struggle for the soon empty throne. Eros didn't mind it. His friends have helped plenty. Today they embark on another quest. Time stands still as he concentrates on fixing the computer. It clears the Eternals mind until someone suddenly interrupts!

MOONDRAGON: Eros! Why didn't you wait for me! I sensed them die!

Her name is Heather Douglas but they call her Moondragon. Though she is human she was raised by Mentor on Titan. She is accompanied by Genis the son of the original Captain Marvel. The youth is half eternal and half kree. He currently upholds his father's legacy by using his title. Eros continue to work on the equipment not looking at his guest.

STARFOX: Hello, Moondragon and Genis. Forgive me.

MOONDRAGON: Forgive you?

STARFOX: It was a bad time. I had to act. I followed my heart.

MOONDRAGON: That isn't a surprise.

CAPTAIN MARVEL: Eros, my mother? She isn't among the others? Is she?

STARFOX: She lives Genis. Infact, I was about too contact both of you as soon as ISSAC is back online.

Eros stops working on the computer equipment. He slowly stands and faces his visitors.

STARFOX: Elysius has left Titan with Adam Warlock.

CAPTAIN MARVEL: But why?

STARFOX: It seems that Warlock inadvertently started a small following on Titan. My father and him would discuss philosophy together. It is said before Mentor's death he revealed something to Adam. Whatever it was Adam was disturbed by the news. He managed to escape in a vessel with his followers before the attack. Your mother Elysius was on the ship.

MOONDRAGON: You are planning to track Warlock down?

STARFOX: Yes.

MOONDRAGON: I see Thena has already marked her territory.

STARFOX: I let her have the title of leader. I have too many troubles as it is now.

MOONDRAGON: I see. The one responsible for killing the Eternals was Nebula?

STARFOX: That is correct. She is here on Titan as a prisoner.

CAPTAIN MARVEL: What are you going to do with her?

STARFOX: I don't know. My heart hasn't told me yet.

MOONDRAGON: The decision doesn't belong to you. It belong to Thena.

Starfox stays quiet for a moment.

STARFOX: I would guess.

CAPTAIN MARVEL: What is this I hear about Sersi being pregnant?

STARFOX: The Black Knight is the father. It seems their a prophecy that the child will grow to replace Thanos. According, to Thanos himself he will be like a son to himself and Death.

MOONDRAGON: That is what all this madness was about?

STARFOX: Yes.

MOONDRAGON: What are you planning to do about Thanos?

STARFOX: I am not sure. I will investigate the Warlock situation and discover what my father told him. Then I shall decide about Thanos. I am sure you two would want too come with us.

MOONDRAGON: You assume correctly.

ELSEWHERE ON TITAN

Hercules, the Black Knight, Sersi and Dania are spending time in the recreational complex.

SERSI: Dane, these Eternals on Titan are a bit different than the Earth one's.

BLACK KNIGHT: I've noticed that Sersi.

SERSI: No, I mean some customs are different. They seem to age their young through genetic engineering at a rapid rate.

BLACK KNIGHT: So I've seen. Genis is only a few years old. His mother before him was also artificially created. Don't worry I know what your thinking.

SERSI: Actually, I am considering it. Our son will be under constant danger. If we could age him to an adult we wouldn't have too worry as much.

BLACK KNIGHT: I don't like it. I would rather take my chances.

HERCULES: Aye, even I whose childhood was but a brief time cherished it.

SERSI: As did I Hercules.

DANIA: Hercules, are you always going to be gone?

HERCULES: No, my little one. My father didst tell me I need to settle down and begin a family. I have already started one with thee. After this trip I promise I will stay.

BLACK KNIGHT: Don't worry Dania. Sersi and I are staying on Titan as well.

A flash of light surprises the group. The light transforms in the woman called Photon.

PHOTON: Are we ready? I am excited.

HERCULES: Nay, Eros is working on ISSAC.

PHOTON: He promised me this would be a laid back trip and we would even have a chance for sight seeing!

BLACK KNIGHT: Rub it in won't ya.

Firelord enters the room.

FIRELORD: We will have two more companions.

PHOTON: Really who?

FIRELORD: Moondragon and the new Captain Marvel.

PHOTON: Oh. Great.

Her response was a sarcastic one.

PHOTON: Where is Gilgamesh?

SERSI: He is banned from Titan remember.

PHOTON: Yes, but isn't he going with us?

HERCULES: Nay. He didst inform he would stay on Earth. He stated that there would be some important events occurring on Earth that he must be a part of. He will assist my brother Apollo on his task whatever that may be.

PHOTON: That is fine. I can't say I like him much.

GALADOR

The Milky Way Galaxy has many planets. Galador, home of Rom and his spaceknights is one of them. It is near the Dark Nebula where the Dire Wraiths hailed from. Today Rom has a visitor. They sit on the terrace of one of the many buildings in the city.

ROM: I don't know Warlock. What about the other Earth heroes?

ADAM WARLOCK: Most of them only care about Earth or themselves. Besides they do not know what I know. What Mentor has told me.

ROM: Why didn't you recruit them then? The same way you try to persuade me?

ADAM WARLOCK: Earth is facing their own problems right now. The change actually will start on Earth. Most of the Olympians have ascended or will be reborn. Ragnarok will also threaten the Asgardians soon.

ROM: I see. I apologize Warlock. My place is among my people. It has been long since I donned my cyborg form but the need might arise at any time.

ADAM WARLOCK: I understand. You refused to fight with me now but you will have to fight one day and it will be alone.

Rom coldy looks at Warlock.

ROM: You are welcomed to stay here for as many days as you need.

ADAM WARLOCK: Thank you Rom. My followers and I shall spend the night.

Warlock leaves the terrace. He takes an elevator to the bottom floor. When he exits he finds Elysius waiting. Elysius is a Titan Eternal created by artificial means. She was the lover of the original Captain Mar-Vell and the mother of Genis.

ELYSIUS: Did he comply?

WARLOCK: No. But he wasn't my target. Have you prepared for the meeting later?

ELYSIUS: Yes.

WARLOCK: Good. Let's see how many of his own Space Knights will join our cause.

SEDATH

The moon Sedath is located in a far corner of the Andromeda galaxy. It is currently the home of Thanos.

THANOS: Warlock plans to come after me it seems. I did not plan on this. It seems another prophecy will come true as well.

DEATHURGE: Oh, you mean the whole Magus thing?

THANOS: Yes. Warlock will begin a church and will try to destroy me. His cause will drive him mad. I wonder if my brother Eros will join him or defy him?

DEATHURGE: Interesting. They fight between themselves. Immortus didn't tell me about that.

THANOS: He was wise not too. Immortus wants Warlock to succeed. That way the time lord can dispose of me and not have to dirty his own hands.

DEATHURGE: Oh, you mean like how he manipulated Nebula?

THANOS: Yes. He is a fool I hope he has learned from his errors. I tried my best to show him the light.

TITAN

The ship called the Argos leaves the moon of Saturn. Eros pilots the ship while Genis navigates. Moondragon sits quietly as does Photon. Firelord and Hercules play a game much like chess.

MOONDRAGON: You do not like me do you?

PHOTON: That isn't true. I barely know you.

MOONDRAGON: I am a telepath. Lying too me isn't wise.

PHOTON: Well some if was true. From what I have read in the Avengers files and heard from the Avengers...I don't consider you a nice person. You manipulated the Avengers right before I joined. They didn't say good things about you.

MOONDRAGON: Enough, I understand. How about you Hercules? What do you think of me?

HERCULES: Moondragon, thou art as beautiful and menacing as any other witch that has been an Avenger.

MOONDRAGON: Really? Beautiful you say?

HERCULES: Aye.

MOONDRAGON: Tell me Hercules what happened to the Olympians?

HERCULES: Father Zeus and the elder gods ascended to another plane. Most of my siblings will be reborn.

MOONDRAGON: And what of you?

HERCULES: I was appointed the task of fathering a new race of gods in the cosmos.

MOONDRAGON: Really. How interesting.

PHOTON: Don't get any ideas Moonie. I know how you were always trying to seduce Thor. Don't think I will let you use Hercules.

MOONDRAGON: Why would I want Hercules for?

PHOTON: I will be watching you.

MOONDRAGON: Is that jealousy Photon?

Photon ignores her. Hours pass and the crew members fall asleep after the hyperjump. They are awaken by their "captain".

STARFOX: Avengers awaken! We have arrived at Rigel.

HERCULES: Rigel? Thor hath spoke highly of these people.

PHOTON: Eros, what are we doing here?

STARFOX: Genis' cosmic senses felt the prescense of Warlock here recently. We should go down and ask questions.

FIRELORD: The Rigellans are a pest. They always try to offer me a droid to observe my adventures.

HERCULES: By Zeus what a grand idea! A modern day bard! Our actions should be remembered!

PHOTON: Oh brother.

RIGEL

Eros, Genis, Moondragon and Photon have all discuss the Warlock matter with the Rigellans. Hercules and Firelord have other ideas.

HERCULES: Ho, there little man! I am Hercules of Earth. Son of Zeus? Hast thou heard of me?

RIGELLAN: Hmm, one second.

He accesses a database in his helmet computer.

RIGELLAN: Yes! Zeus is a major Earth deity. You are a famous hero.

HERCULES: I like this lad already. Art ye a Recorder?

RIGELLAN: Oh no. But I would love too to give you one.

HERCULES: Good, that was what I was hoping.

RIGELLAN: There are some forms you must fill out first ofcourse.

FIRELORD: Here is the bad part.

HERCULES: What forms?

RIGELLAN: It is done electronically. But I can ask you the questions if you prefer.

HERCULES: Ha! Aye, ask me your questions?

Five minutes later.

RIGELLAN: Please, put me down. I promise not too ask another question. I promise.

HERCULES: Aye! So be it!

FIRELORD: Atleast I lasted longer when they offered one too me.

HERCULES: I want my Recorder now!

RIGELLAN: Yes, sir. He is on his way! There it is.

Hercules puts the little Rigellan down gently. A Recorder walks up to them.

RIGELLAN: This is Recorder X2397. He will join you in your adventures but never interfere.

HERCULES: Does he talk.

RECORDER: Yes, good sir. I am pleased to have the chance to record the affairs of such a mighty being.

HERCULES: Aye, I like him already. Thou wilt witness conception of a new race of gods good Recorder.

RECORDER: It is an honor sir. May I ask what you mean exactly by "conception"?

HERCULES: If thou doth not know? Thou shall witness the Lion of Olympus himself implant his almighty seed into fair young maidens!

Firelord closes his eyes and nods. The rest of the Avengers show up.

PHOTON: Hercules?! What is this?

HERCULES: This fair Photon is the Recorder. Are newest crew member aboard the Argos.

STARFOX: Hercules what have you done?

RECORDER: Greetings Avengers. Hercules has told me you are all his sidekicks on his wonderful adventures. It shall be a pleasure recordning your....

MOONDRAGON: Sidekicks? You are gravely mistaken machine.

FIRELORD: Forget the machine. What did the Rigellans tell you of Warlock?

CAPTAIN MARVEL: He was here two days ago. He performed some form of rally and tried to recruit some Rigellans.

HERCULES: Aye? For what?

STARFOX: To kill Thanos. We watched the video. He called them to join his Crusaders. Only one young Rigellan actually left with him. It is not in these beings nature to interfere.

FIRELORD: Do you think he is going planet to planet recruting members for his crusade?

CAPTAIN MARVEL: We believe so.

HERCULES: What dost thou make of that Eros?

STARFOX: I don't know Hercules. I don't know.
