Facts agitate this fury
this searing senseless trash
tangled in bloodlines and history.
Disturbed words list sins
of ghoulish fictions in
sunset's light like a melting
pumpkin on the horizon.
Strange fear saturates soggy rage
as the sickly moon's pale light
sterilizes the landscape.
Listen for the footsteps
in rustling bushes like rain;
such succulent accents soothe.
Cool dew drips down grassblades
in blue reverie. The mood
slows with time to near black;
time stops in utter silence-
until day imperceptibly stains
the sky lavender, flower
scented and ballerina delicate.
Passion seeps in, and morning
finds the rage.
