I dont understand why you went away,
Why cant we be friends for another day?

I guess the friendship things meant nothing to you,
When you called me your best friend, was that a lie too?

We wrote 'Friend 4 Eva' on each others books,
But now when i see you its just dirty looks.

You told me your secrets and I told you mine,
But now we dont talk because you've drawn the line.

We both said some things that were hurtful and bad,
But now I'm alone and it makes me feel sad.

And now when I see you with your new best friend,
I know you've decided its now the end.

There's only a few things I need to know,
What did I to make you want to go?

So now I'm alone because you need some time,
But I've got better friends, so I'll be just fine.

This poem was written back in Year 9 about a friendship i lost in Year 8. I was kinda upset with it at the time, purely because i didn't know why she was upset with me. We're still not as good friends as we used to be, but those best friends she had? They're now my friends as well. He he.
