No Angel©
She awakens with a look on her face,
Possibly a smile.
She glances to the left of her
and knows theres no denial.
"My second for this weekend"
She giggles cheekily,
for this act of 'making love'
seems to set her free.
Rebellious, yet angelic,
her mask can be seen through
she thinks she's gotten away with it,
But we knows its nothing new.
She lies to her friend,
the one she calls 'best,'
but what happened to this friendship?
Broken with this test.
She knows not the damage she's done,
Not to say she'd care,
But i wonder if anything will sink in,
When she realises I'm not there.
Will she even give a damn?
About this friendship she's lost?
Well perhaps freedom has a price,
of which she's paid the cost.

This poem was written, not about anyone in particular, but just about the idea of ditching your friends for someone, or something. Everyone says they don't do it, but the truth is, most people do. It irritates me...so I wrote about it.
