For my precious baby daughter
A Mother's richest treasure.
You'll never know how much I love you
Or how you fill my life with pleasure

Mommy made this book for you
Starting with the first years.
I tried to capture all the moments
The laughs, the looks, the messes, the tears.

I stare at you every now and then
Your smile just couldn't be brighter.
The only problem that I have
Is how I can hug you tighter?

I'd like to make the time stand still
To keep my baby a baby.
I wanted a little girl for so long
Oh how soon you'll be a young lady.

Your personallity fits just right
A true little girl are you.
Oh my how you love your babies,
Your animals, your Barbies, your dress-up, too.

My favorite time of all, though,
Is when the morning sunshine beams
On that sleepy little angel face
Wanting to cuddle and tell me your dreams.
