Spring Fling

Spring is such a happy time
for every living thing;
Flowers poke their heads up,
And birds begin to sing.
Tiny buds burst open 
On the tip of every tree;
Fields of grass start greening
As far as one can see.
Baby bunnies bounce about,
And fawns in woods tiptoe;
Children frolic in the parks,
Their faces all aglow.
Hope rekindles in our hearts
On warming springtime days--
Our thanks to Mother Nature
For her magic wondrous ways!
